A small *cottage business baking breads and sweet pastry.

Previously I owned North Shore Coffee Company, est. 1992, where I worked as a professional baker and barista. I now have returned to my baking roots as Hackel Haus Bakery.

We sell fresh, flavorful and premium ingredient small-batch breads and pastry.

Serving Hastings area, special order customers in the Twin Cities, seasonal markets and popups.

Good ingredients make great pastry.

Sourcing premium local organic provisions is our priority. We use slowly fermented wheat and dark rye sourdough starters, unsalted butter, free-range Hastings farm fresh eggs, seasonal fresh fruits from nearby orchards and honey from Cannon Falls.
